Swedish – This classic massage technique involves soothing, relaxing strokes such as gliding, kneading, stretching to increase circulation, improve skin and muscles tone, and promote relaxation.
Deep Tissue – Similar to the classic Swedish massage, this technique uses more focused strokes such as compression and cross fiber friction to facilitate the release of specific muscles that are tense and knotted.
Meditational Massage – This signature massage developed by the founder of Mindful Body Massage combines the benefits of touch with the healing potential of meditation through breath work and guided imagery. This massage is perfect for those wanting to increase their mind-body connection while reducing anxiety and cluttered thinking.
Pregnancy Massage – This invaluable massage can help you adjust to the changes that occur during pregnancy and relieve many discomforts associated with your changing body structure. Regularly scheduled massage sessions can also promote fetal well-being and even shorter labor time–always performed by a therapist certified in prenatal massage. Minimum 70 minutes.
Sports Massage – This treatment uses a variety of techniques to address areas of muscle fatigue and tension. In the event of an injury focused massage techniques are used to reduce swelling, speed healing and inhibit the formation of scar tissue.
